Lincoln Creative Writing and Poetry Group welcomes everyone who shares our interest in poetry and creative writing. We encourage anyone, who wishes to explore their own creativity through writing and reading, to come along to the monthly workshops.
There is no cost only your own time and enthusiasm. In a friendly and supportive environment all genres are written, read, talked about and celebrated. Our community thrives on workshop exercises; working alone or in group work, fresh outpourings are born and developed - a springboard for future writing. Each month we have a new theme to work with, using a variety of inspirations you as a writer are able to react in your own personal way as well as pick up on the groups collective thoughts. Everyone is given the opportunity to contribute, whether that is to write, read, or simply talk about others creative writing. We aim to be non exclusive and to provide access to the world of writing for beginners and experienced writers alike. Previous workshop details & those of our partner Louth Poetry Group are available on the next page, they give a flavour of the workshops, although they miss out on the very essence and joy that occurs by bringing together a group of individuals, who each have a passion for their own form of creative writing among their other varied interests.

Hello, welcome, come along, join in, have fun; reading, talking, writing, thinking, performing, sharing, celebrating.
